I’m a Goofy Goober!
C: Man o’ Man, has it been awhile! but we’re back at it and hopefully we’re here to bring you more consistent content. The Goofy Goober! Similar to the Fluffernutter from Kings Brewing its a solid PB&J style beer, a little lighter in alcohol but the taste is a damn good bang for your buck. Spanish Marie knew what they were doing, they reached out to our inner child when they made this beer and they hit the target. A solid beer that hits all the jelly notes without the overpowering taste of peanut butter. This beer has a nice Ice cream finish that will surely leave your tastebuds satisfied.
THIS IS MY JAM
M: After a little hiatus, Spanish Marie’s Goofy Goober was a great choice to get back into this! An equal amount of Jam and Peanut Butter flavor. Smooth, tarty-sweetness that hits perfectly on the palate, leaving me feeling like I just had a full on PB&J. I’m no longer hungry, except for maybe another pour.
It’s Them Damn Goobers Again.
J: I’ve been told the name of this beer is a Sponge Bob reference, I’ve never seen it, for me, this is about the Goonies, at the end of the movie, the Goonies come out of Willies cave and the cop that sees them says, its them damn goobers again, first though seeing the can, second thought, damn I love this style of beer. Present story excluded I want to first say it feels good to be back, its been too long, is this an excuse to drink beer? Absolutely, do we take these reviews seriously? Up for debate, but we do our best. Moving on… Goofy Goober by Spanish Marie is a peanut butter sour and boy is a peanut butter sour, have you ever had a peanut butter sandwich? Now throw it in a blender with some alcohol and you got this beer, and its delicious. Its smooth, slightly sour and super drinkable, I’m an undying fan of sours and this one is no exception, if you like beer, sours, peanut butter, jelly or any combination of the the four, you’ll like this beer, give it a go, you won’t be disappointed. Cheers Reavers!
